Hi,

I followed your suggestion and Aips got compiled on amd64 architecture
in Debian-3.1 with gcc-3.4.4 which I build with sources from gcc.gnu.org.
However, IMAGR with NFIELD >1 still aborts
(it earlier aborted in the same way when compiled with the native /usr/bin/gcc-3.4
version 3.4.4 20050314 (prerelease) (Debian 3.4.3-13))
with DOTV=1 (No Boxfile, No RA,DEC shift, but with NFIELD=2 in this
case). It appears to work with DOTV=-1.

This is a log.

I am wondering is it particularly a problem on Debian-3.1 ?
Which Linux distribution you have used to compile aips on amd64 ?
