VTESS falls over with the error message

localh> VTESS1: MINIT: BUFFER TOO SMALL LX =32768 BY/PX=2   BUFSZ= 32768
localh> VTESS1: PASS2: INIT ERROR      7 FILE DA01:SCD012001.01Y;
localh> VTESS1: FILES: ERROR   7 IN DSKFFT, BEAM TO U,V
localh> VTESS1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes

if either dimension of the input image is 16384. Works correctly for 8192 
x 8192.

Would it be possible to increase the buffer size straightforwardly?
