[daip] AIPS Memo 46 and coordinate systems

Hi, 

I've taken a look at AIPS Memo #46 and could use a clarification on
one point.  

Suppose I have an image in one of the 8 projections supported.
Converting to an image in a new projection is not as simple as
changing the header CTYPEn, is it?

More specifically, say I have an image with RA---SIN and DEC--SIN.
How do I convert it to RA---GLS and DEC--GLS?  Isn't there some kind
of regridding involved?
