Have you tried what I suggested?  Did you change accounts between the
installation and the MNJ.  If not try the above suggestion:

Type

/usr/bin/cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at mnj.aoc.nrao.edu:/home/aipssrc/cvs

and hit the enter key when it asks for a password.

Then try the MNJ again - by hand rather than cron.
