Wes is oon vacation and may not know what to do anyway.

But TPMON1 is used as a remote tape device on your computer for you or
others to use from some other computer to read/write disk files
from/to your computer.  I suspect that you do not need it at all.
Certainly, there are good work-arounds (ftp FITS files) if you do.
