Hi Julia,
Why are you SPLITing? Did you try running IMAGR on the file after
INDXR? I don't understand how you can SPLIT and still have a
multi-source data set, did you do DBCON between SPLIT and IMAGR? Then
you need to run INDXR again so you have a NX table.
Cheers,
Amy

Hi Amy,
Thank you, I tried the following series of tasks using the original
file:
UVSRT
UVCOP
INDXR
SPLIT
IMAGR
all the tasks were successful, except for IMAGR. When I tried to run
IMAGR, it gave me the following error message:
WARNING: NO NX TABLE IN MULTI-SOURCE FILE
pindor> IMAGR1: ****** SELECTION AND FLAGGING BY SOURCE DISABLED
pindor> IMAGR1: ****** YOU SHOULD RUN INDXR
pindor> IMAGR1: ** ONE and ONLY ONE source must be specified

here is the header on the file I tried to run IMAGR on:

Initially, we tried to run SPLIT which told us to run INDXR which told
us to run UVSRT, so our first successful run the series of tasks
UVSRT;INDXR;SPLIT on the original file I am running on a linux machine
using 31 DEC 05 AIPS (I took that from the startup text). I hope that
makes sense!
Thanks,
Julia
