[daip] Minor aips suggestions

I'm running aips on a rather new linux distribution.  I get the following 
warning that will likely become more common as more people are running 
with newer "head" and "tail" unix tools:

head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in 
the future

The simple fix is to follow the above advice, and the same for the "tail" 
command.  Both these unix tools are used several times in the various 
installation and startup scripts.  The fix shouldn't affect recent 
versions of head/tail, at least back to the versions that shipped with 
redhat 7.0 .
