[daip] AIPS taking control

Does this mean that a top running in another window or a clock in
another icon/window stops?  Or just that KDE no longer lets you mess
with windows on the screen?  Or what?

Needless to say it should not stop anything.  Is your aips data disk
on the same disk as the swap?

Or is there some real worry about Enterprise?  We have not heard about
this from anyone else but..  Are you data on an IDE disk or scsi?
