cd to /home/morrison/AIPS/DATA/SEAWOLF_1 ls -l MS* I think you will see one or message files. DElete the one for the particular used number you were using. MS files contain a pointer to where the next message should be written - apparently this is damaged and so it is trying to read beyond the end of file. ERic Greisen
