The subbarray concept has designed for the case when some group of the array 
carries out different observation for example obseves different source.
Each subarray has his own AN table.

All AIPS tasks has a selection parameter SUBARRAY allowing you to
select desired subarray. If you selected SUBARRAY=2 then positions of
the antaennas will be taken from AN table number 2.

Many tables (CL, SN...) has a column subarray for each row emphasizing which 
which group of antennas corresponds to the row.
