#apparently indicating that one IF pair (AC) was tracked and the other
#(BD) not tracked.  Can this be the case?  How would the user request

We sometimes do this tracking on a narrow maser line and ignore it for a
25/50 MHz wide continuum in the other IF - but as line and continuum cannot
be mixed, both then are observed in continuum - the maser is tracked to
keep it located in the narrow bandwidth (thus obtaining max SNR) - the
maser is then used for self-cal in later stages. Anyway
