The problem lies with the file FILLM is trying to read - I assume that
PRTTP alss has trouble with this file.  Did you run ftp to copy this
file without telling it binary?  In that case it may have been copied
as if it were test and ftp converts any byte that looks like a
carriage return or a line feed into two bytes that are carriage
returnm followed by line feed.  This will totally trash a binary file
and make the program loose its way through the data.
