[daip] Problem reading tapes with FITLD on Tru64 V5.1A

Dear Emilio,

What kind of files are you trying to read?  Are they VLBA
distribution files, files you wrote with FITTP or other
random FITS files?

It would also be helpful if you sent your FITLD inputs and
more of the messages from FITLD.
