Hi Eric,

success!! I started both FILLM and FIXXM Monday afternoon, hoping to load
in data taken that evening. FILLM went off into never-never land and
never gave any results --

FILLM Task FILLM (release of 31DEC03) begins
FILLM Shadow flag limit = 2.500E+01 meters.
FILLM No opacity correction in CL table.
FILLM No gain curve correction in CL table.
   FILLM Welcome to real-time FILLM!

and then nothing else; while FIXXM worked perfectly:

FIXXM Task FIXXM (release of 31DEC03) begins
FIXXM UV data will be written in compressed format
FIXXM Shadow flag limit = 2.500E+01 meters.
FIXXM No opacity correction in CL table.
FIXXM No gain curve correction in CL table.
   FIXXM Welcome to real-time FIXXM!
   FIXXM tape file # 1, start date/time = 20030310/22:18:30
   FIXXM
   FIXXM *** ATTENTION - default: loading subarray 1 ***

etc.

   FIXXM Found 07379-25570 : 0 50.000 MHz at IAT 0/ 00:55:30.0
FIXXM Dropped 48920 shadowed vis at limit 2.5000E+01 meter
FIXXM Read 209615 visibilities from999 files
FIXXM Appears to have ended successfully
   FIXXM verdi 31DEC03 TST: Cpu= 0.0 Real= 9904

Both were started within a minute of each other. Unfortunately with FILLM
there was no sign it even found any data, so it may easily have failed
almost instantly rather than timing out while waiting for data later on.
Anyhow FIXXM brought home the goods :)

  Cheers,

             Michael
