What parameters did you use with BPASS and what version of AIPS?

I re-ran BPASS with DOCAL true, BPASSPRM(10)=1 on the two data sets
and they get essentially identical results in POSSM - both relatively
flat.  There seems to be a difference of a few percent in the
normalization of the bandpasses between those you sent and the ones I
generated.
