[daip] RedHat 9 Compiler problem?

Craig,

I used the 3.2.2 compiler (under RedHat 7.2 of course) for quite a
while until it was accidentally blown away (leaving 2.95.3, 3.2.3, and
3.3).

I guess we need to build an aips again on a RedHat 9 box and try your
problem on it here.  I do not know if/when a suitable box will be
available.
