[daip] PROBLEMS installing AIPS

There are no known problems with installing and compiling all of AIPS.
It is installed on Linux systems almost every day.  Can you provide
information about the failure such as the listing from the
compilation.  It might also help to append your copy of
$APLGEN/ZXLX8.FOR in case it has been corrupted.
