We typically get one Tsys every 15 secs with the EVN - over 24 hours that gives
~6000 records per IF per antenna. I think 12000 records/IF should be enough to
cover  nearly all the experiments we do, but if it doesn't have any severe
side-effects it might be good to set the limit a little higher than this.
