Go to the $AIPS_ROOT area
. LOGIN.SH or source LOGIN.CSH (depending on shell)
$CDTST
edit $SYSLOCAL/LIBR.DAT, replacing the line
- -ltermcap:0:$AIPPGM
with the lines
- -lreadline:0:$AIPPGM
- -lncurses:0:$AIPPGM
Then cd $TST/$ARCH/INSTALL
./INSTEP4
This means that you will need to run FILAIP and POPSGN by hand after
the INSTEP4.
I suppose it is possible to rerun install.pl but then you probably
have to pause it before the INSTEP2/4 point and do the LIBR.DAT
editing and then give it permission to resume. install.pl copies
LIBR.DAT from $SYSLINUX to $SYSLOCAL so you can only do the editing
after the copy...
I assume that you are not using REdHat LInux but some other flavor.
