[daip] Sun AIPS

I have a Sun/Solaris machine that I don't use for anything other than
for running AIPS/LWPLA.  I was thinking about converting it to Linux.
If I did this,

1. Is there a binary installation for AIPS for Sun/Linux architecture?

2. Would my Sun/Solaris AIPS directories work AS IS under Linux?  I 
   absolutely do not want to convert them with FITS since the only
   reason I keep the directories is for the PL files.
