When a grey-scale image is displayed on the Tv, the pixels are copied
directly.  This will make it small if the subimage is small.  The plot
file converted to PostScript will fil the paper, but no interpolation
is done on the TV.

Use LGEOM to interpolate up a subimage for now.

I am working on that area of the code at present so I suppose we could
consider changing this.
