Thanks Eric for answer  my early question.

doing
 
tar xzvf gcc-2.95.3.tar.gz, I find the gcc-2.95.3  directory in which
is gcc subdirectory and lots more, but there isn't any 'g77'. Could
you tell me what is wrong?
