I finally got around to fixing your CLCAL smoothing bug.
CLCAL was automatically leaving blanked SN solutions blank
which is why you got such strange results.  SNSMO has an 
input (DOBLANK) which allows the user to choose if blanked
SN solutions should be smoothed over or left blank.  I
thought it would be a good idea to keep a similar philosophy
so I added DOBLANK to CLCAL.  If you set INTERPOL to BOX or
MWF and DOBLANK >=0 then the blanked solutions will be
replaced by smoothed solutions and everything will be
interpolated the way you wanted.  It should be in the
system tomorrow.
