I aborted the task because it seems stucked....

Boy this is getting odd!
You got past the no AP memory and then FTAB is full which should not
ever happen and malloc says you are out of memory. This suggests
problems in compilers or something like that...
What kind of computer are you on and how much memory do you have?
I note that the compiler you are using is very old. You might try
installing the GNU 2.95.3 compiler and re-running INSTEP2 and INSTEP4.
Instructions for doing this are found on our main and a secondary web

Be sure to put the new compiler in some new place so that it does not
interfere with the old gcc (which was and is used by your operating
system).
