[daip] AIPS for linux on CD

Dear Ernie,

I am starting a group at the University College Cork, and
would like to obtain a CD with AIPS suitable for running
under Mandrake linux.

What version of AIPS is currently available -- Pat Murphy said he
thought 31DEC00 was available now and 31DEC01 would become available
in a month or so?

The last I checked there was a problem with the task UVPRT in
relatively recent versions, and the latest version in which this
task actually worked properly was I think 31DEC99. Is it possible
to get this version, or is it reasonable to somehow be able to
get only the 31DEC99 UVPRT and access it from within AIPS?
