[daip] problem with POSSM

Amy,

I am having a problem with some VSOP polarization data taken with the
VLBA and Y (phased array) on March 10, 1998. I had run ACCOR + CLCAL
with no problem (SN 1 +CL 2), read in the system temperatures for
the VLBA + satellite and the source/system ratios for the VLA, and
run APCAL + CLCAL with no problem (SN 2 + CL 3).

However, when I try to run POSSM to see the calibrated amplitudes,
the error

panthe> POSSM1: Task POSSM (release of 31DEC02) begins
panthe> POSSM1: ZABORS: signal 11 received
panthe> POSSM1: ABORT!

appears in the message window, and AIPS says

AIPS 1: TASK QUIT WITHOUT RESUMING ME
AIPS 1: Begin check for any 'standard' scratch files
AIPS 1: Scratch files -- destroyed: 0 still active: 0
AIPS 1: Resumes

In addition, if I specify docal -1, so that I'm not trying to
apply any calibration, I get the same result.

I've used UVCOP to copy out ten minutes of this dataset, and
have put it on aspen, in the directory "astronomy" under the
vlbiobs account. Can you please take a look and see if you can
see what is wrong (I checked that this short dataset gives the
same problem as the full dataset) ?

The version of AIPS I'm running is 31DEC02, under linux.

Thanks, and let me know if you need any more information or
whatever!

	Denise
