[daip] error running TVSERVER

#i'm running AIPS on my ultra-sparc machine.
#When i run AIPS remotly(with TV=local )
#it dump out following messages infinitely and
#TVSERVER does not come up.
#(message server and tek server works fine)

# select error - AipsSocket: Invalid argument

This is not much information. Does it work when you do not work remotely
but local? Does the local machine run aips and is it also an utlra-sparc;
do they have the same $AIPS_ROOT? Maybe, to work remotely you have to put
all items needed in /etc/services (see the INSTALL.PS document in the
distribution).
