The explain file has a right for mistake also, although it writes:

Not all uv data manipulation routines will do
      something sensible with the output data file (e.g. self
      calibration in ASCAL or CALIB).

But it does not matter.

The matter is the solution has to be found.

I'look at IM2UV.

hi, the explain file for im2uv claims it makes files
that other programs can use. are you saying this is
not true?
