[daip] installing AIPS

Dear Ernie,

I am finally about to embark on installing AIPS on
my linux PC. I don't particularly expect any problems
(probably naive of me), but I have never done this,
and only rather minimal information about how to do
this came with the CD. Is there some kind of AIPS
installation manual available? I couldn't find one
on the NRAO web page.
