The program is dying when it tries to read the LASTEXIT Save/Get file.
Either the SAVE/GET directory file is messed up - it should only be
about 28672 bytes - or the actual LASTEXIT file did not get written
fully - it should be 562176 bytes. Go to

         /home/ganymede/aips/aipsc/DATA/GANYMEDE_1

and look for (use ls -l SG*) files named

        SGDnnn00m.nnn;

where nnn is your user number in extended hex For example, my files
look like

-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser    28672 Aug 28 11:23 SGD010000.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Aug 27 11:48 SGD010001.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010002.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010003.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010004.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010005.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010006.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010007.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010008.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD010009.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD01000A.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Jan 28  2000 SGD01000B.010;
-rw-rw-r--    1 egreisen aipsuser   562176 Feb  3  2000 SGD01000C.010;

The easiest correction will be to delete all of the SG files. You
will lose the SAVE (if you had any besides the automatic LASTEXIT one)
files but can run again.
