I have tried CELGAL on our computers (Linux and Solaris) and we do not
encounter the problem you have seen even if I alter a header so that
it looks just like your input header.

What compiler are you using?  Things to try:

1. "f77 -v"

   and send me what it says

2. "which f77"

   and send me what it says

3. COMRPL $AIPSUB/AU7 NOOPT
   COMLNK $AIPPGM/AIPS

   then run aips and see if the problem remains.

Also check that the f77 used in step 3 is the same as output in step
2.
