[daip] AIPS

I have installed AIPS (31DEC01) on a Debian machine A running kernel
2.2.17 and
version 2.2. It works fine.
I want to install it on another Debian machine B but rather than do this I
have NFS exported the ddirectories from A to B. 
When I start up AIPS on B, it seems to start up ok but soon it gives me
the following message:
ZLOCK: No Locks available.

I am running lockd on both server and client.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
