Teddy,
I think Jim is right that ANTE=0 should be used. But when you run
FRING/KRING on Y1, here are some tips...
When you run FRING or KRING be sure:
- the REFANT is the same as in CLCAL
- GAINUSE is equal to the CL table that is produced
by running CLCALon the PCCOR output, and DOCAL=2
- in FRING: DPARM(8)=1
in KRING: OPCODE='ZRAT'
- ANTENNAS = Y1 + REFANT
When you run CLCAL be sure:
- ANTENNAS = Y1, do NOT put the REFANT in this list
- REFANT is the same as before
- GAINVER is the same as you used in CLCAL before
i.e. the CL table with all the calibration EXCEPT
the instrumental phase corrections.
- GAINUSE is the CL table ourput bu the last CLCAL i.e.
the GAINUSE used in KRING/FRING.
- OPCODE = 'CALI'
If you have a recent enough version of AIPS to have the VLBAUTIL
procedures, there is one called VLBAPCOR which will do all this
for you.
Cheers,
Amy
