Hi Leonia,

I think I figured out what is going on, after I looked at the code for
SNPLT.  When using STOKES "DIFF" for the amplitude it takes the difference
of the real and imaginary parts of the solution and then recalculates the
amplitude, and so is not independent of the phases of the RCP and LCP.
But, I'm surprised that the value of the amplitude "difference" can be
greater than 2 if the input amplitudes are both unity.
