It looks as if some of your adverb values have gotten messed up.  INP
checks for valid characters in character-valued adverbs and
complains.  TYpe

   FUNCTY = ' '

and this particular one will be fixed..  DEFAULT <task> will reset all
adverbs for a task (if you have a recent enough version).  RESTORE 0
resets all adverb values.
