while i'm at it on FILLM, it might be nice to have some informational messages (controlled with an adverb of course) which print out file boundaries, time updates (every hour or so?), etc... not knowing where you are on the 5 GB archive tapes (because the files indicated in the binders aren't *really* the file numbers on the tape) can be frustrating... -bryan
