What version of the compilers are you running?  It may be that the
settings in $SYSLOCAL/LDOPTS.SH and $SYSUNIX/FDEFAULT.SH are not right for
that version.  We generally assume 2.6 for Solaris (=SunOS 5.6 according
to the output of uname -a) anymore.

This does flag an inconsistency between the options (-fns etc.) and the
compiler.  I bet that's your problem.

Definitely an inconsistency.  I'm on travel right now (at a meeting and
with limited net access)  but you need to look at the options in those
files, and at the options your version of the Sun Compilers allows, and
make sure they are consistent.
