Dear Leonia,

I successfully installed the 31DEC99 version of AIPS on my Linux PC two
weeks ago and had everything running fine.  However, yesterday I
inadvertantly logged out of my machine while the XAS server was still
running.  When I logged back in, the TV window would no longer appear when
I started AIPS, and commands like TVINIT produced these errors:

ZSSSO2 connect (INET): Connection refused
AIPS 1: ZSSSOP: CHANNEL ASSIGN ERROR FOR LUN    9
AIPS 1: YTVOPN: TV OPEN ERROR      6
AIPS 1: TV OPEN ERROR      6

I suspect I've left some sort of system variable in a weird state, but I
do not know how to diagnose or debug the problem further.  I would be
grateful for any suggestions you have to offer.

P.S. - In case it's helpful, here are some of the messages I get when I
