Prof.Reinhard Genzel to present 'the formation and evolution of massive proto-disk galaxies', telling the recent discoveries, from near-infrared integral field AO spectroscopy, mm-interferometry and Herschel observations that massive, gas rich disks were formed 10 Gyrs ago through rapid and semi-continuous accretion from the intergalactic web.
