The 31DEC26 version of AIPS is now the development version.  31DEC25 is frozen (actually "slushy").  It has been updated along with 31DEC26 this month and will get serious bug fixes in 2026.  The MNJ is your friend to stay current.  See details at https://www.aips.nrao.edu.
