The development version of AIPS has become 31DEC03 and 31DEC02 is
frozen.  The AIPSLetter for 31Dec02 is available (in color for pages
7, 8, and 10) from the aips web page
       http://www.aoc.nrao.edu/aips

Current 31DEC02 MNJ sites may run at least one more MNJ profitably.
The 31DEC02 MNJ will start failing (due to lack of any change) fairly
soon.  Note that 31DEC02 MNJs went on working when 31DEC03 became TST
at the AOC - yet another nice thing about cvs!

It is not possible to rename 31DEC02 simply to 31DEC03 even with a
moderate amount of changing of other files.  The cvs tool is just too
smart.  To get 31DEC03 you will need to do a new install.pl from the
new tar ball (now available).
