[bananas] First Patch for 15OCT97 AIPS

Until a few moments ago, there was no XAS.gz in the SUL/LOAD/ area on the
aips.nrao.edu anonymous ftp server (there is now).  Those of you who
noticed this and took the SOL version need do nothing, other than
hopefully accept my apologies.

Those doing source installations on SUL (Solaris Ultra-2) systems need to
get the first patch before starting their installs.  See

for all the details.  The patch simply has a replacement XAS.SHR (the only
file therein that changed was the Makefile).  Alternatively, you can
generate a perfectly good XAS thus:

	cd $YSERV/XAS
	export ARCH=SOL		(or "setenv ARCH SOL" for tcsh/csh users)
	export OPENWINHOME=/usr/openwin  (if necessary)
	make
	export ARCH=SUL
