Dear Colleague,
Welcome to the quarterly enews from the North American ALMA Science
Center (NAASC). This enews includes links to the NRAO newsletter items
relevant to the construction and operation of the Atacama Large
Millimeter Array, and to the Canadian on-line ALMA News.
Synopsis: ALMA construction continues to accelerate, including
first dynamic fringes at the test facility in Socorro, and 7 antennas
being integrated and tested in Chile. The ALMA transporters have
arrived at the OSF. Hiring at the NAASC is progressing. There was
a beta release of the NAASC-supported on-line spectral line database
"splatalogue", and pre-registration is open for the 3rd NAASC workshop
