Folks,

Darrel Emerson and Gene DuVall for the PSI team reported last night:
>> This is the semi-daily report on the PSI progress towards
>> astronomical interferometry.
>>
>> 02-Mar-2007
>>
>> Today at 7:13pm both antennas were peaked up on Saturn
>> successfully, delays were set and fringes appeared. Saturn
>> was tracked for over one hour.
>>
>>
Congratulations to them on this feat, which required vastly more than this
simple few lines can convey. ALMA moves into a new era now, as an
interferometer in addition to a collection of total power telescopes.

 Clear skies,
 Al
