[asac] proposal for Real Time Imaging software

Dear ASAC members,

A group of Canadian astronomers have written a proposal to build a 
real-time imager for ALMA based on the AIPS++ tool kit. It would be very 
helpful to have a discussion of this proposal at one of the next two ASAC 
telecons. The proposal is very timely given our recent discussions of 
software issues and the higher data rates implied by an improved 
correlator for ALMA.
