Please ignore the appendix B-1 of the draft version of
my memo. 

The idea was to define a representation of the
synthesized beam which does not underestimate the
sidelobes. The function I used to multiply the Fourier
transform of the transfer function is not the right
one.

The right definition is the one given by Woody in memo
389 for the "worst case PSF". The function that should
be used is the "modified primary beam".

Sorry for this mistake.
I will put a new version of the memo on the ftp site
as soon as possible.
