I think John's phase I and II is an excellent suggestion. Have fun, reduce the level of tension, and then adjudicate. One could also evaluate errors on different spatial scales in the Fourier transform of the deconvolved image - this is always instructive and is where the arrays are sampling the data after all. cheers, Melvyn.
