Dear Colleagues,

The 39th annual New Mexico Symposium will take place on Friday, 17 November 2023 in Socorro, NM. In a traditional way, the symposium will be accompanied by the winner of the Jansky Lectureship, who this year is Dr. Paul Vanden Bout, Emeritus Astronomer from NRAO. The title of Dr. Vanden Bout's presentation is "Millimeter Astronomy at NRAO - Some Personal Reminiscences".

Astronomers from New Mexico and surrounding states are cordially invited to attend the Symposium and, if they wish, to present a paper. We expect to fill a full-day schedule with oral and poster presentations, from about 9:00am to 5:00pm. We particularly encourage students and young astronomers to use the Symposium as a forum to present ongoing astronomical research.

The meeting website can be found at: 39th Annual New Mexico Symposium<https://web.cvent.com/event/73aa6b1b-b349-407a-a0dc-9302e0c3639c/summary>.

Registration and abstract submission will open in early October 2023.
