29th Annual New Mexico Symposium

The twenty-ninth annual New Mexico Symposium will occur on

                         2014 January 17

  REGISTRATION DEADLINE - JANUARY 10TH

The symposium will be hosted by NRAO and NM Tech, at the Science Operations Center in Socorro. We expect to fill a full-day schedule with oral and poster presentations, from about 09:00 through 17:30.

The 48th annual Karl G. Jansky Lecture will be given by Dr. Charles L. Bennett. Dr. Bennett's public lecture is titled "A Tour of the Universe". NRAO will host a dinner for registered participants between the end of the symposium and the lecture.

Astronomers from New Mexico and surrounding states are invited to attend the symposium and, if they wish, to present a paper. We particularly encourage students and young astronomers to use the symposium as a forum to present ongoing astronomical research. We can accommodate approximately 19 oral presentations and a large number of posters.

There will be no registration fee, but anyone planning to attend is asked to register, to facilitate our planning. The registration deadline is January 10.
