GSD2008 is sponsored jointly by the French and German national astronomical societies. It is scheduled as one of the regular Spring Meetings of the Astronomische Gesellschaft, and in tandem with the Thematic Days frequently sponsored by the French SF2A. The meeting will take place at the European Doctoral College in the University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France, from __March 16 to 20, 2008__. The EDC is located on the Victoire boulevard, opposite the grounds of the Observatoire astronomique (the Observatory). REGISTRATION DETAILS: FORM, DEADLINE The registration desk is open: visit the conference url and click on the "Registration" button on the left. The expanded text shows you the links to the registration database. --> Contributions for oral talks will receive full consideration until ** 10 FEBRUARY ** --> Contributions for posters or late oral talks considered until ** 1 MARCH ** --> We will make every effort to accept late registrations and abstracts, but after ** 1 MARCH ** there is no guarantee that they show up in the programme/abstract booklet. --> Registration will remain open until the beginning of the meeting, and we welcome any hot late registration and abstract, but please understand that after ** 1 MARCH ** we cannot guarantee the inclusion into the final programme and abstract booklet. REGISTRATION FEE: The fee is set at 90 euros for PhD students and 120 euros for post-docs and staff. --> A penalty of 30 euros will apply to all those registering after ** 1 MARCH ** --> You may settle your registration fee in cash when you first reach Strasbourg, however it is also possible to settle this by filling out the payment form, and send it to us (by mail, fax, or email).
